Sep 28, 2018 Best VST sampler for use with Octapad (Roland SPD-30) I'll try to keep this simple. Does anyone know if there are VSTs that respond better to playing/triggering sounds from an Roland Octapad (SPD-30) than others?

- Jun 08, 2010 The new Roland SPD-30 reviewed here, however, is a little slinkier than the tea tray-simple styling of older models. The pads are slightly recessed into a nicely curved ice-white plastic chassis, while the control area on the right of the unit is reassuringly Roland.

Roland Spd 30 Stand
Hey All,
I've been thinking about getting a sample pad to add to my acoustic set at church and was wondering if you guys have any opinions on the best type of sample pad out there.
I've heard many good things about the Roland SPD-SX sample pad but its pretty steep at $800. Curious as to what ya'lls thoughts on this is and if its worth the money.
Alesis is coming out with a sample pad pro which will only be $300 which is very intriguing.
