The Long Dark is an open world survival game staged at the frigid Canadian wilderness. There are two modes to the game, story mode and adrenalin rising survival mode. In the game, you are a pilot who has crash-landed in the Canadian wilderness and trying to survive a global disaster. There is no cap to the maximum weight limit but the highest you can get currently (using food, gear, etc.) is just over 3,500LT. How to use console commands in The Long Dark

So installing and launching the console commands is probably the first thing you want to do, to enable you to use the Mods in The Long Dark and make the game your very own experience.

Go to Extract UmodTLD_1.3 zip
Move the “Assembly-CSharp.dll” and “UModTld.dll to your “SteamAppscommonTheLongDarktld_dataManaged” folder
Run the game
The UMod watermark on the top left corner when the menu has loaded means you are good to go.
To enter the commands go to the mod folder, open the UModTld Config.txt on the list you will see KeyConsole = Backslash (/) and KeyConsoleFullModifier = LeftShift
Select your preferred command from the list.
Bring up the console.
Type list for a list of all the commands.

There are two categories of commands at your disposal

The F Key commands are enabled by pressing F1 through to F7
In game console commands are accessed through ( to open console or shift+ to open full console)

F2 Ghost Mode will make you invisible. You can be anywhere and do anything without attracting any attention, especially of the frightening bears.
F3 Infinite carry, allows you to carry any item without weight addition to your backpack
F5 Infinite Sprint gives you the power to run forever without tiring out
F6 Stop decay of your food supplies, an important factor for your survival
F7- is the maximum range you can reach on all skills. This command puts you at your best performance on sewing, fishing and fire making
Control+W = Ice Walker will give you the stability to walk on thin ice without falling.
Control+H = is your doctor as it instantly heals you of afflictions including sprains and poison
carry — Modify your carry capacity.
pos — Get the player position
heal – Heal the player of all damage
skills — View and change skills
showpos — Toggle showing the player position on the screen
sleep — Pass time in a magical nice warm bed (30’C warm boost)

2. Item Console Commands

F4- Maximum Item condition- You will not need to be worried about your torn jacket or broken torch. This command will repair them to a perfect state and also put fuel on your lantern
0 = Command will Repair the selected items on the inventory clothing menu
+ = Increase the item count of the selected item. This is also a duplication command for all the items that don’t have a stack count.
= This Command will decrease the items in the inventory
Delete = Delete the selected item from the inventory menu
additem – Add an item to your inventory.

3. Functionality Commands

All the functionality commands are in-game console commands accessed through ( to open console or shift+ to open full console). They will help you have an overview of the console commands and receive the needed training

4. Environment Console Commands

The Long Dark Game simulates random temperatures during every play through. You will need to monitor the weather carefully to prevent death from exposure. These console commands will be helpful in you surviving the harsh environment.

weather – With this command you can change the weather to your convenience
time — Change the Time
timescale — Change the Time Scale
wind — Change the Wind strength
air temp — Lock the air temperature to a certain degree

End = Bullet Time will slow down the game to allow you aim at wolfs or bears with a bow/gun
PageDown = Is Useful during a bear or wolf struggle that makes it easier for you to win
Control+PageDown = Will ensure your quest by ending a wolf/bear struggle with the animal dead at your feet
Alt+NumPad- This Command is numbered from 0-7 entered at the end of the command to indicate the animal you can spawn. For example (Alt+NumPad0) allows you to spawn a wolf
deadaim — Toggle perfects your bow aiming skill.
spawn – With this command, you can Spawn a mob Bear, Wolf, containers, etc.
